This Privacy Policy explains what personal data WalletReview.com collects, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We collect as little as we can. The site has no user accounts, no newsletter, and no analytics or advertising trackers.

What we collect and why
When you contact us
Our contact form asks for your name, email address, a subject, and your message, and sends them to us by email. We use them only to reply to you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering the messages you send us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
When you leave a comment
Where comments are enabled, we store the name, email address, and comment you submit, together with your IP address and browser details to help stop spam. Your email address is never shown publicly. You can ask us to remove a comment at any time.
When you visit the site
Like every website, our hosting provider and our content delivery network, Cloudflare, process your IP address and basic browser information to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. These technical logs are used for security and running the site, not to build a profile of you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Affiliate links
Some links take you to wallet makers, exchanges, or other services through affiliate programs. When you click one, the partner’s own website may set cookies so that we are credited for a purchase. That happens on the partner’s site and under its privacy policy.
Embedded videos
Some reviews include embedded YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which limits tracking until you press play. Once you play a video, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect data under its own privacy policy.
What we never collect
We do not ask for, store, or process recovery phrases, private keys, passwords, wallet balances, or payment details. We will never ask you for a recovery phrase. Anyone who does is trying to steal your funds.
Cookies
WalletReview.com does not set its own analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. The third parties described above may set their own. Our Cookie Policy explains the details and how to control them.
Who receives your data
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run the site for us: our hosting provider (DigitalOcean), our content delivery network (Cloudflare), and our email service provider for contact-form messages. They process it on our instructions and for no other purpose.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based in, or use infrastructure in, the United States. When data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards provided by law, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep data
We keep contact messages only as long as we need them to deal with your request, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Comments stay online until the article is removed or you ask us to delete yours. Technical logs are kept by our providers only for a short period, for security.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email us and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), or to the authority in your own country.
California residents
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you and ask us to delete it, by emailing us.
Children
WalletReview.com is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We protect the site with HTTPS, security software, and restricted access to our systems. No website can be perfectly secure, which is one more reason we collect so little.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The effective date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
